Why I Love Writing Second-Chance Romance
Some bonds were never meant to break.
There’s something achingly beautiful about second-chance romance.
Maybe it’s the heartbreak.
Maybe it’s the hope.
Or maybe it’s that deep, soul-level yearning that only comes when two people know exactly what they lost—and still want to fight for it.
For me, second chances aren’t just about rekindled love. They’re about redemption. About facing your pain, your past, your worst mistakes—and choosing love anyway.
In The Endless Dark, I couldn’t imagine a love story that hadn’t already been tested.
Amara and Rhordan once had everything—until fate, betrayal, and impossible choices tore them apart.
But love like theirs doesn’t just disappear. It lingers in every glance, every silence, every unspoken word.
Writing them meant diving deep into what it means to forgive. To hope. To find your way back through the dark.
We don’t always get second chances in real life. But in fiction—we get to hope.
We get to imagine what healing might look like.
We get to watch characters earn their way back to each other.
And that’s the kind of story I want to tell.
