  The Endless Dark is officially finished. The manuscript has been completed and has now been read by my first beta reader—and I’m thrilled to share that they loved it more than I ever expected. This story has lived in my head and heart for a long time, and seeing it finally reach this stage feels surreal. We’re now stepping into the next phase of the journey as I gather feedback and prepare for what comes next. Thank you to everyone who has been following along and supporting this process. I wanted to share a quick update about my writing. Over the past week, I’ve had to put writing on hold due to a possible autoimmune issue that has been causing significant swelling in my fingers. At times they’ve quite literally looked like sausages, which unfortunately makes typing and writing a bit difficult. Right now, I’m in the process of going through medical testing—including a recent biopsy—to try to get some answers about what’s going on. While I’m hopeful that this will lead to some clarity, it does mean that my writing schedule has had to slow down for the moment. If you know me, you know that writing is incredibly important to me, so stepping away from it—even temporarily—has been difficult. However, taking the time to focus on my health is something I need to do right now. My hope is that this pause will only be temporary and that I’ll be able to return to the keyboard soon.
